6/3/2025 ~ Upgrades, Updates, and a Prideful Month!
There's a lot going on, so what is new on the Re-Crix channels?
Welcome to another small update on the website! I will be trying to issue new updates and schedules at the beginning of the week (the schedule on Sunday, more so.) As I do get into the nice schedule I have set before me, please be patient and enjoy the improvements as they come along! Speaking of improvements, a lot of improvements have happened over the weekend, so let's dive into those, shall we?
Starting with PC upgrades, I have officially upgraded my PC's RAM to 32 GBs! This should allow for a more seamless and fluid viewing experience, as well as more graphical capabilities as it will be able to store more data to draw from. These sticks came from some spare parts that I was planning to use at some point for a new PC, but never had the chance to build. So, instead of letting these parts go to waste, I figured this would be the perfect time to implement them as hardware upgrades! With the new RAM increase, this week should bring forth a new graphical era for my PC as I will be installing the 3090 TI that was meant for the new PC build. While I am not 100% sure it will work, I did see that it fit in the case and was compatible with my motherboard, so only time will tell! Lastly, we did manage to update the BIOS for my motherboard as well, so maybe in the near future we'll get one more part upgraded as well.~ Also, I am working currently to fix a long time bug in the form of audio glitches on stream. It varies when these occur, but as they have seemingly increased ten fold, I figure not would be a good time to tackle it head on. So if you experience any audio issues on stream as I'm working to fix things, let me know!
Hardware upgrades are always fantastic, but they aren't the only way to change things up! That's where some new content updates come into play! I am actively working on releasing TikToks/YouTube Shorts every Tuesday and Thursday around 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM PDT! This will come with less streams throughout the week but higher quality streams to start and end your week with! How cool is that??? Additionally, I decided recently to make one free Patreon post every first Wednesday of the month alongside the paid one! That way, even if you can't give, actively showing yourself around in the Patreon and the community allows you to still see cool stuff! Lastly for this post, IT'S PRIDE MONTH! And I'm here to celebrate alongside you! You know, it was 6 years ago that I realized that I wasn't meant to be what I was born as and I'm going to be honest, I am far happier now than I ever have been before. I'll attach a photo of myself that I really like below this paragraph. Between being able to inspire others to be themselves, the compliments I've gotten with how I present myself as an enby, the self-growth and love I've regained for myself, as well as many other things, has lead me to be able to genuinely smile when I do see myself in the mirror. I'm glad to be me and you should be too! Pride is a moment of celebration, not just for us who are alive, but for those who we have lost along the way as well. Those who aren't here but have allowed us to stand as tall as we are. No matter what happens in the future, shine brighter amongst the sea of darkness and allow yourself to help others along the way. No matter where you are in the world or what you may be facing, remember this: you are loved and you are wanted.

5/27/2025 ~ An Interview with Crix??? (+updates for the website!)
That's right! Next month, I'll be getting interviewed by former radio station host, Eric Loy Interviews!
This interview should be coming out late June - early July, so if you want to find out more about your favorite nerd on the internet, then be sure to watch the interview on YouTube when it gets released!
Now, onto the next point: I've been pushing to make various quality updates to the streams, socials, and even here on my own website! So what's new? I've reformatted the entirety of the Twitch page so new information and up to date links can be found there, as well as the linktree! There is also an ongoing effort to update and replace the BRB screen with something longer and less repeditive, so please do bare with me and my team as we get that sorted out for you! Additionally, anytime I post on BlueSky, you can now keep up to date with the happenings in the Discord server. It doesn't ping you and you're welcome to mute it, but since I know not everyone uses Bluesky, it was my way of trying to help you guys keep up to date with whatever ramblings I have going on. As for the website, I have managed to add various new features such as weekly schedules for the streams and this new page meant for all kinds of news announced on streams! I do hope this helps keep you guys up to date with the latest and greatest coming from me.
